This reduces focus shifts your eyes make when viewing a flat screen, which helps result in less fatigue and more comfortable viewing over extended periods. Additionally, the 60HZ refresh rate means the display shows a new image 60 times per second for less delay between each individual frame and therefore less input lag. Rounding things out is FreeSync to help remove stuttering delays and screen tearing by dynamically adapting the display's refresh rate to variable frame rates.
Samsung has also equipped this display with a native resolution of 1920 x1080, support for 16.7 million colors, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 3000:1, a typical brightness level of 250 cd/m2, a 4 ms (GtG) response time, and support for 72% of the NTSC color gamut. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position.
